Arnold Michael Benson Sr. was born on October 31, 1955 to John and Dolores Quilla Benson. He passed from this life on May 9, 2010. Arnold was well known as Arnie by his family and friends. He was well known due to his positive influence in the security industry. Arnie was the type of guy who would help someone else before helping himself. Everyone loved his personality and this is what made him the man that he is and what people loved about him. Arnie had a successful career in the electronics industry and security industry. He enjoyed his line of work so much he would continue working even though he knew he was sick. You will never be forgotten, you will always be forever loved.

Arnie is survived by his parents John and Dolores Quilla Benson; his three children Michael, Michelle and Arnold Benson, Jr.; his late brother John Benson Jr.; his sister Lisa Benson Castro her husband Gerry Castro and his nieces and nephew Camille, Jade and Jordan Castro; his half brothers and half sister Roland, Rostum, Romeo and Rosario Benson; and his dear friend Anthony T. Blackard.

Viewing services will take place at Valente Marini Perata Mortuary, 4840 Mission St., SF on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 2010 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass service will be held at St. Augustin Church, 3700 Callan Blvd, SSF at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010. He will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery 1500 Mission Road Colma folllowing the St. Augustin mass.
